Our Review of How to Catch a Mermaid
This instalment of the How to Catch series has such a summer feel to it: perfect to read with your kids the night before you head out to the beach!
The art of this is very soft and cute, it reminds us of some early 2010’s Cartoon Network cartoons. The characters are sweet and their designs are simple and a lot of children will probably be able to relate to them! Not to mention the adorable little pup – when he goes scuba diving with the characters we couldn’t help but coo over his little outfit!
The rhyming is fun and Adam uses such a wide variety of words, we’re sure your child will learn some fun phrases or two!
Despite the mermaid being the target of the children’s catch attempts, she ends up saving the children with some traps of her own! It’s clever and a nice little plot twist which will surely warm the hearts of many.
