Our Review
At the heart of Pig the Slob is the endearing and mischievous Pig the Pug, whose lovable antics and larger-than-life personality make him an instant favorite among readers. Blabey’s knack for capturing Pig’s exaggerated expressions and comical postures is truly a feast for the eyes.
We see how Pig refuses walks and is perfectly content melting into the couch watching TV and playing games all day. Eventually Pig’s messy and lazy habits wreak havoc in his surroundings, we soon see that lying around all day isn’t good! Going out and having fun is a much better use of our time.
This book may be more important now than ever, with the ever-rising phenomenon of the ‘iPad kids’. This should hopefully shed some light to your children that TV and games aren’t everything in life.
