How to Catch a Witch is a wonderfully spooky addition to the How to Catch series!
The book is beautifully illustrated by Andy Elkerton with colorful and detailed pictures that bring the magic to life. There’s plenty to look at. Although the book is only 40 pages, reading time can be much more than expected simply because it’s so fun to stop and look at all the wonderful images!
Me and my nephew especially liked admiring all the creatures and costumes in this halloween-themed books! We’ve definitely got a huge list for Halloween ideas following this book. We loved the witch telling everyone to floss, dance, and boogey! Needless to say, we had a little dance break!
We think the witch was making Halloween night more interesting, but I suppose we don’t really want the school to be run-over by zombies and ghosts alike. It seems by the end of the book, the kids had the same sentiment. Despite trying to capture the witch, the kids ended up enjoying her presence as the ultimate party-thrower.
Reckon we could hire this witch for our Halloween party?
