Our Review
We’ve heard all about Pig’s naughty behavior throughout the series – now Pig the Rebel needs to learn to behave. For his crimes, he’s being sent to obedience school! But our Pig didn’t like that one bit. Our favorite pug soon makes an attempt to break out of the school with other naughty dogs in tow. Stealing hotdogs and cakes in his wake. But all too soon poor Pig got caught up in an explosion!
The following scene even had me laughing: a pot-bellied, hairless Pig! The illustrations throughout this book are truly amazing, and never fail to make us laugh at all ages.
Did Pig turn a new leaf? Has he learned his lesson? With a new heart, Pig gifts his 4-legged friend a flower and we know now that Pig might at last be a good pug.
As always, the Pig the Pug is always a delight and this book is no different! With tons of laughs and lots of fun, lyrical lines that pack a punch each way it goes. We definitely recommend this for any child’s bookshelf!
